  7. Now, press Enter.
  8. Access the Registry Editor. 
  9. Locate the QuickBooks folder in the left-hand panel.
  10. Go to the “File” menu.
  11. Select “Export” to create a backup.
  12. Choose a location.
  13. Now, save the backup file.
  14. Change the file extension to .reg.
  15. Save your changes.
  16. Close the Registry Editor.

Solution 2: Download a Digital Signature Certificate

  1. Go to the QuickBooks installation folder. Find this at C:\Program Files (x86)\Intuit\QuickBooks.
  2. Find the file named QBW32.exe.
  3. Right-click on QBW32.exe.
  4. Select Properties.
  5. Navigate to the Digital Signature tab.
  6. Click the Details button.
  7. Then select View Certificate.
  8. Go to the General tab.
  9. Click Install Certificate.
  10. Open the Certificate Import Wizard.
  11. Ensure that the store location is set to Current User, then click Next and Finish.
  12. Click OK.
  13. Close the wizard.

Solution 3: Add Intuit to Trusted Sites

  1. Open Internet Explorer (IE).
  2. Click the Gear icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Choose Internet Options.
  4. Go to the Security tab.
  5. Now, select Trusted Sites.
  6. Click on Sites.
  7. Now, add the following URLs:
  8. For US QuickBooks users:
  9. *.quickbooks.com
  10. *.intuit.com
  11. For Canadian QuickBooks users:
  12. *.quickbooks.ca
  13. *.intuit.ca
  14. Click Close.
  15. Select Apply.
  16. Click OK or press Enter.
